The Spokane Parks Levy is a $240 million, 20-year initiative approved by voters in November 2025 to enhance every park in every neighborhood across the City of Spokane.

What projects are included in the Parks levy?

  • Enhanced security by more than doubling our Special Commission Park Ranger team
  • Improved daily maintenance and vandalism repair by adding 50% more maintenance staff
  • Renovate or replace all restrooms (85 +/-)
  • Renovate or replace all playgrounds (54 +/-)
  • 3 new neighborhood parks (Shiloh Hills, North Indian Trail, and Latah/Hangman)
  • 3 major park renovations (Minnehaha, Harmon, and Grant)
  • 1 new all-weather, lighted, rectangular sports field
  • Renovate all sport courts (14 +/-)
  • 1 new disc golf course
  • 1 new pump track
  • Modernize outdated water systems (12 +/-)
  • 5 trail and trailhead renovation/developments
  • Natural land acquisition and management
  • Renovations to 3-5 existing softball/baseball fields with all-weather surface infields and/or practice lights
