Installation of a new irrigation system at Cannon Hill Park is progressing well. The contractor has completed irrigation work on the eastern portion (pond side) of the park – it’s been installed and tested, and the trenches have been filled in. The area will soon be open to the public, though turf grass will need to be re-sodded, which can be done while in public use.

Now, the construction team will transition their project and fencing to the west half.

The contractor will leave access to the playground, but the rest of the west side of the park will be blocked off through the remainder of the construction season. The restroom is closed for winter.

The full project is still anticipated to wrap up near the end of October, possibly into November.
